GLAMOUR – THE UK’S “MOST HIGH TECH FACIAL” – DOES IT WORK?
What? The self-proclaimed “most high tech facial in the UK” Nouveau Skin Therapy’s Dermatude facial uses Meta Therapy to deliver active serums to the skin through micro-needling.
How? The micro-needling drives active serum past the outer layers of the epidermis to living cells where they can get to work on improving the skin’s tone and texture. The 30-minute treatment promises to visibly improve the skin’s tone and clarity as well as battling against premature ageing. Put off by the word “needle”? The micro-needling technique is actually less invasive than some microdermabrasion facials, and simply feels like a light scratching across the skin. It’s slightly uncomfortable but not at all painful.
Does it work? In short, yes! It did for us. After the treatment at the Harley Street Clinic with celebrity facialist Elizabeth Caroline, we instantly noticed an improvement in the brightness and texture of skin. We went to see Elizabeth with several “problem areas” including stubborn blemishes and by the next day our skin was visibly clearer.
